A September to Remember

A September to Remember
Sydney Feldman

September is coming to an end and fall is in the air, though in Miami it hardly feels like it with temps still sweltering in the high 80s. As we wind down the month (and try to stop sweating), we wanted to showcase some major Diamond PR milestones that made this September one to remember.

1. Diamond PR went bi-coastal (officially)

We’ve always had ties on the best…we mean, west coast, but this month we officially announced the opening of #DPRWest — our funky, incredible office on Hollywood & La Brea. What will this mean for DPR? Exotic new clients in destinations accessible via the Pacfiic. Maldives, anyone? Ps. If you’re ever in the area, come say hi!

2. #LusDirtyThirty

This month, our very own Director and Latin America travel queen, Luisana, hit the big 3-0 and of course, we had to celebrate in true DPR fashion with a private mansion pool party. Swan floats, aguardiente shots…polaroid pics. Oh my!

3. We gave back!

Giving back has always been extremely important to Jody and the rest of Diamond PR, but Sasha really revved up the team spirit this month, encouraging us to participate in weekend volunteer activities like helping to create a butterfly conservation area at Zoo Miami.

4. Marriott became the biggest travel company in the world!

We’ve been big Marriott fans since day #1, so we couldn’t be more excited for the official announcement of Marriott & Starwood’s big merger last week. In addition to repping a handful of incredible Marriott resorts, we also handle PR for the paradise by Marriott MARCAM cluster and Marriott International’s Caribbean & Latin America (CALA) region.

5. Amazing Media Hits

We couldn’t recount September’s milestones without mentioning a few rockstar media hits in outlets such as ForbesInStyleMiami HeraldSELFDepartures, &! Huge thanks to our talented journalist friends that made these big wins possible!

Sydney Feldman

From beachside camping in Mexico to mountain paragliding in Mendoza, Sydney is always looking for her next big adventure. When she’s not busy traveling through Latin America, this hippie-at-heart grooves to reggae, jogs on the beach and stuffs her face with Florida stone crabs.
