If you read our blog post back in January, “Technology Doesn’t Sleep, And Neither Does the Media,” then you know we created our DiamondPR.com website with the media in mind, creating a completely customizable media resources section for press kits, images, b-roll, client lists, press trip lists and more. (Worth a read if you’re a journalist and not familiar with it yet).
We’re quite proud of it (insert patting self on back here). Not that we can take all the credit — it of course was only possible thanks to our incredibly talented (and patient) web designer. And no one is happier to see his work recognized than I am. We submitted it to PR News’ Platinum PR Awards program in the Online Press Room/Media Center category and have found out that we’re a finalist!
Here’s a section from PR News official announcement release:
The finalists of the Platinum PR Awards set industry standards for excellence across all areas of PR. Finalists are from corporations, agencies and nonprofits—both large and small—that took chances, made tremendous strides in their communications efforts and understand the power of public relations.
Taking chances and making strides… I like the sound of that. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
