Where do you find the ever-elusive Work / Life balance?
As 2012 kicked off, we sat down as an office and discussed Work / Life balance and making it a goal this year. We should use our vacation days. Enjoy our time off. Take time to smell the roses, hug our children, kiss our husbands, read a book, and all that. We’ve pledged as an office to designate a monthly movie night – shutting down our computers an hour or two early and catching the latest flick. We celebrate with drinks when someone reaches a milestone with the company. We go out for lunch on birthdays. And sometimes we open a bottle of wine in the office, just because.
